Living in Doha, Qatar (Middle East) and continuing my trauma recovery sessions with my therapist via Skype or Face Time, I began to really understand the importance of taking things slowly, allowing time for my body and nervous system to heal and grow new neural pathways. Once morning, I woke up with "go slow" in my heart. It felt great to paint out the large letters, and I was surprised at how orange showed up, because it had been one of my least favorite colors. And here it was, big, bold, beautifully powerful. It hangs in my studio, an ever present reminder to go slow with great love. Go slow and prosper!
